Francis Beaty, 87

Francis Beaty, 87, of Sunshine, died Thursday, August 26, 2021.
He was the son of the late Luss and Emma Beaty. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Austin Dakota "Cody" Beaty; and a sister, Fern Kennedy. He was a lifetime member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. Francis loved gardening and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Hilda Beaty; his daughter, Lynn Davis and husband Terry of Gastonia; his son, Jeff Beaty and his wife Kim of Sunshine; his 5 grandchildren, Heather Davis of Myrtle Beach, SC, Tracy Goodson and Bobby of Darlington, SC, Leslie Buchanan and John of Charlotte, Erica Bissontz and Alex of Mooresboro, and Travis Beaty of Sunshine; there are 9 great grandchildren, Deisy and Richard Davis, Joey, Regan and Davis Goodson, Brenett, Xander and Henry Bissontz, and Jackson Buchanan.  
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Tuesday, September  7, 2021 at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. The Rev. Stephen Cooper and Rev. Eddie Padgett will officiate.
Friends may visit Monday, September 6, 2021 from 2 pm until 6 pm at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home to sign the register book and pay their respects.
