Florence Gettys, 92
Mrs. Florence Rollins Gettys, 92, of Ellenboro, died Friday, January 22, 2016 at Hospice House, Forest City.
She was the widow of J.O. Gettys and daughter of the late Cle and Mary Houser Rollins. She was a longtime resident of the Duncan's Creek Community and a member of First Broad Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son Wayne Gettys and his wife Janet, of Bostic and a granddaughter, Beth Gettys.
The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home. The Rev. Keys Pendleton will officiate. The committal service will be held in the chapel, and burial will be at Duncan's Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
The Visitation will be from 1 pm until 2 pm Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Duncan's Creek Presbyterian Church, I/C of Treasurer Debbie Stikeleather, 14100 Fountain Lane, Charlotte, NC 28278.
