Everett "Sonny" Hendricks, 73
Mr. Everett "Sonny" Hendricks, 73, of Rutherfordton, died Friday, March 18, 2016 at Hospice House, Forest City.
He was the son of the late Alfred and Gertrude Hendricks, in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Dean Hendricks. Sonny was a Navy veteran and an avid hunter.
He is survived by his son, Clint Hendricks and his wife Cynthia, of Ellenbor0; his daughter, Crystal Hill and her husband Clint, of Rutherfordton; there are 4 grandchildren, Hunter Hendricks and Jacob Hendricks, Morgan Hill and Noah Hill; there are 3 brothers and 6 sisters.
The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday, March 21, 2016 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service. The Rev. Sam Henderson and Rev. Danny McCain will officiate. Cremation will follow the service. The Rutherford County Honor Guard will provide Military Rites on the grounds of the funeral home after the chapel service.
The Visitation will be from 1 pm until 2 pm Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
