Evelyn Stacey, 77

Mrs. Evelyn Stacey, 77, of Ellenboro, died Monday, December 9, 2019.
She was the widow of Jesse Stacey and was the daughter of the late John Freelin Causby and Dona Hudson Causby, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Howard Crayton Causby. She was a member of Piney Mountain Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, William Gene Stacey and Alan Todd Stacey, both of Ellenboro; 2 brothers, Johnny Freelin Causby of Monroe, GA, and Joe Mills Causby of Ellenboro; her grandson, Matthew Todd Stacey; and a her great granddaughter, Jaylen Makenzie.
The Funeral will be conducted at 4:00 pm Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home. The Rev. Edward Ellison will officiate. Burial will follow in the Piney Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Joe Causby, John Causby, Jimmy Cash, and Ronnie Griffin.
The Visitation will be from 2:30 pm until 3:45 pm Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
