Eunice Morrison Hughes, 90

Eunice Morrison Hughes, 90, of  Union Mills, died Saturday, September 11, 2021.
She was the widow Bob E. Hughes and a daughter of the late Ross and Cleo Morrison. Eunice was born in the Cane Creek Community, graduated from Mt. Vernon School and was a member of Westminister Baptiist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Diane Bailey and her husband Stewart, of Union Mills; her sisters, Betty Jean Green and her husband Gene, of Rutherfordton, and Hazel Sisk of Bostic; her brother, Wade George Morrison of Forest City; 3 grandchildren, Lori Evans and husband Brian of Union Mills, Tiffany Gaddy and husband Brandon of Marion, and Jonathon Bailey and wife Frelyn, of Green Hill; 6 great grandchildren, Robbie Evans, Garrett Evans, Peyton Gaddy, Brookley Gaddy, Otis Bailey, and Scarlett Bailey.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Westminister Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Aaron Vess and Rev. Donald Morrison will officiate. Pallbearers are Brian Evans, Robbie Evans, Garrett Evans, Brandon Gaddy, Jonathon Bailey, and Randy McCurry.
The Visitation will be from 4 pm until 6 pm Tuesday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.
