Mrs. Emma Sanders Lancaster, 92, of Forest City, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Hospice House, Forest City.
She was the widow of Woodrow Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Crit and Toye Sanders, and was also preceded in death by a son, Woodrow Edison Lancaster, Jr. She was a member of First Baptist Church Of Forest City and was retired from Stonecutter Mills.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The Funeral will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home. Rev. Jamie Hamrick will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Visitation will be from 1:45 pm until 2:45 pm Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
