Dorothy Mae Waters, 90

Dorothy Mae Waters, 90, of Stanfield, NC, died Thursday, April 24, 2025.

She was the daughter of the late Fred and Roxanna Lane Waters. She was a member of Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by a son, Perry Schrimpsher; and a grandson, Jason Hartsell. 

She is survived by her husband, Roger Elliott; her daughter, Tina McLemore; her sons, Gary Schrimpsher and his wife Diane of Oregon, IL, and Ronnie Schrimpsher of Stanfield; there are 12 grandchildren. 

The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Mt. Harmony Baptist Church. David Waters will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Justin Schrimpsher, Jordan Blake, Ben Lunger, and Mark Stimson. 

The Visitation will be from 12:45 pm until 1:45 pm Wednesday at the church prior to the service.
