Mrs. Doris Pletcher Wehrstein, 85, of Bostic, died Thursday, August 16, 2012.
She was the widow of Richard Wehrstein, and daughter of the late Grant and Edith Mae Phillips Pletcher. She was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church, and a former Vice Commander of the DAV Auxillary.
She is survived by two sons, Richard Wehrstein, Jr. and his wife Wanda, of Columbus, and Greg Scott Wehrstein of Miami, FL; a sister, Elva Rowland of Tucson, AZ; two grandsons, Richard Wehrstein III and Aaron Joseph Wehrstein.
The Funeral will be held at 3 pm Sunday, August 19, 2012 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home. Rev. Frank Camp will officiate. Burial will be at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, August 21, 2012.
The Visitation will be from 1 pm until 2 pm Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
