Donald Tyree, 67

Donald  Royce Tyree, 67, of Ellenboro, died Friday, April 12, 2024.
Don was born on March 12, 1957 in Whitesburg, Kentucky, and was a son of the late James Ira Tyree and Mary Webb Tyree. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Donald married Ruth E. Walters of Tiffin, Ohio, the love of his life, on July 2, 1979. 
He had moved to Ohio as a small boy. He was the baby of 13 children. Growing up in Tiffin he made many life long friends he cherished for years. 
He was a US Army veteran and retired from Whirlpool in Clyde, Ohio after 35 years of service. His favorite  past times were watching all of the Detroit sports teams, and especially the Detroit Tigers; metal detecting and finding buried treasures to add to his coin collection; and spending time with his family and sharing stories together. 
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Walters Tryee; his son, Donald E Tyree and wife Tiffany, of Ellenboro; his daughter, Tracie L. Tyree Poulson of Tiffin; his 3 grandchildren that he loved dearly, Carter J. Poulson, Tyree R. Poulson, and Jaycie T. Poulson, all of Tiffin; four sisters and 2 brothers also survive. 
An urn burial will take place at a later date at Fairmont Cemetery in Tiffin.

He will be deeply missed by his loved ones. They find comfort knowing he is wrapped in the arms of Jesus.
