Diane Watson McEnnerney, 79

Diane Watson McEnnerney, 79, of the Westminister Community, died Sunday, April 14, 2024.
She was the widow of Matthew Leo McEnnerney and a daughter of the late George and Beuna Watson. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Watson; and a sister, Sally Kuhn. For many years, Diane was a musician and playwright with the Rutherford County Arts Council. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Devin McEnnerney and his wife Billie, of Westminister Community, Brendan McEnnerney and his wife Heather, of Rutherfordton; her brother, Chuck Watson and his wife Brooke, of Rutherfordton; her sister, Jeane Watson of Spindale; there are 10 ten grandchildren, George, Leo, Liam, Arthur, Rosaleen, John, Aidan, William, Josephine, and Robert. 
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, April 18, 2024 at the Immaculate Conception Church. The Reverend Father Herbert Burke and Deacon Andy Cilone will officiate. Burial will follow in the Brittain Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Devin McEnnerney, Brendan McEnnerney, Chuck Watson, Andrew Watson, Desmond Moller, and Ben Limehouse. 
The Visitation will be from 1pm until 2 pm Thursday in the church Narthex, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Grace Of God Rescue Mission, 537 West Main Street, Forest City, NC 28043.
