Coy James Hill, 86
Mr. Coy J. Hill, 86, of Golden Valley, died Monday, January 21, 2019 at CHS Cleveland.
Coy was the son of the late William Washington Hill and Lois Hill, in addition to his parents he was preceded in death his brother, Charles Hill; and his sisters, Aileen Grissett and Dellois Hill. He was a past Master of the Hollis Masonic Lodge #535, a member of First Broad Baptist Church, and was a US Navy veteran of Korea.
He is survived by his wife, Jean McFarland Hill; his sons, Clyde Hill and Donna, of Casar, and Aundre Hill and wife Lisa, of Golden Valley; his 3 grandchildren, William Hill of Casar, Brittany Hill Greene and husband Daniel K. Greene, and Wesley J. Hill, all of Golden Valley; there are 4 great grandchildren, Landen Greene, Lucas Greene, Lawson Greene, and Addison Greene.
The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, January 25, 2019 at First Broad Baptist Church. The Rev. Kevin Towery will officiate. Burial with Masonic Rites will follow in the church cemetery.
The Visitation will be from 5 pm until 8 pm Thursday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service.
Memorials may be made to the Hollis Masonic Lodge #535, in care of Jasper Yelton, 4841 NC Hwy 226, Bostic, NC 28018.
