Bud Williamson, 98

W. W. “Bud” Williamson, Jr., born August 13, 1923, passed away on July 23, 2022. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sadie Hamrick Williamson. Bud was a native of New House and a long time resident of his property “Poverty Hill.” He was known for his great story telling and his razor sharp wit. Anyone who knew him had one (or more) favorite stories about Bud, and so will not be surprised that he wanted his obituary to simply say “Bud’s dead”. That said, friends and family, no doubt, will want to raise a glass remembering his full life, while recounting some classic “Bud” tales. He would have enjoyed that.

The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
