Bruce David LaPorte, 69
Mr. Bruce David LaPorte, 69, of Ellenboro, originally from Buffalo, NY, died Monday, December 17, 2018 at Hospice House, Forest City.
He was the son of the late Bruce and Felicia "Faye" Burvid LaPorte. Bruce was very active with the YMCA in Boiling Springs, NC.
He is survived by his son, Justin LaPorte and wife Kelci, of Johns Creek, GA; his daughter, Sara Goodwin and husband David, of York, PA; his sisters, Monica Bradshaw and husband Grover, of Ellenboro, Michele Namenek of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Stephanie McCullum of Las Vegas, NV; his brother, Robert LaPorte of Las Vegas, NV; there are 4 grandchildren, Kaitlyn LaPorte, Ethan LaPorte, Cooper Goodwin, and Rose Goodwin.
The family is planning a Memorial Service to be held at a later date.
