Brian Nelson Herman
Mr.Brian Nelson Herman, 48, of Golden Valley, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
He was the son of Marie McCurry Herman of Hickory, and the late Lewis Edgar Herman, Sr. He was an electrician.
In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his wife, Ellen McCurry Herman; a son, Coty Herman; a daughter, Cailin Herman, all of the home; a sister, Cathy Herman Carroll of Swansboro; and two brothers, Lewis Edgar "Buddy" Herman, Jr, of Vale, and David Herman of Hickory: there are 4 nieces, 2 nephews, 4 great nieces, and 3 great nephews.
The Funeral will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, February 3, 2012 at Golden Valley United Methodist Church. Rev. Gary Smith and Rev. Danny Bumgarner will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM Friday at the church prior to the service.
