Brenda Hurdt Miller, 57

Brenda Hurdt Miller, 57, of Golden Valley, died Wednesday, April 22, 2026.

She was the widow of Robert E. "Rob" Miller. She was the daughter of Dorothy Mae Bumgarner Hurdt of Golden Valley and the late James Forrest Hurdt. She was also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lero Calvin Bumgarner and Martha Louise Bumgarner; and her paternal grandparents, Frank Hurdt and Lottie Hurdt. She was a member of Golden Valley Community Church where she was a member of the Lady's Circle and was a youth leader at one time. 

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughters Makayla Harris Bevins and her husband Samuel of Granite Falls, and McKenzie Paige Miller of Golden Valley; her sister, Angela Hurdt Brackett and her husband Darl, of Bostic; her brothers, Dennis Andrew Hurdt and his wife Tammie of Bostic, and James Matthew Hurdt of Golden Valley; her two grandsons, Haddon Thomas Bevins and Xayden Chance Griffey; and numerous nieces and nephews she loved dearly. 

The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00pm  Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Golden Valley Community Church, 6800 Bostic Sunshine Highway, Bostic. The Rev. Dennis Hurdt will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Rev. Lamar Hewitt officiating. Pallbearers are Samuel Bevins, Austin Hurdt, Billy Hurdt, Bryson Hurdt, Hunter Hurdt, and Jamie Crump.

The Visitation will be from 5 pm until 8 pm Friday at Golden Valley Community Church.
