Bobby Joe Waters

Mr. Bobby Joe Waters, of 370 Luckadoo Mountain Road,Bostic, died Friday, August 9, 2013 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
He was the the widower of Joyce Belk Waters, and a son of the late Fred and Anna Lane Waters. Bobby Joe was retired from UPS Freight.
He is survived and will be missed by one daughter, Michelle Waters Whitley of Bostic; three sons, David Waters of Bostic, Randall Waters of Marshville, and Danny Waters of Albemarle; four sisters, Dorothy Elliott of Florida, Doris Faires of Charlotte, Diane Stimpson of Kings Mountain, and Linda Ledford of Rutherfordton; two brothers, Larry Waters of Bostic and Don Waters of Sherrills Ford; there are nine grandchildren, Stephanie Waters, Anthony Waters, Shawn Waters, Heather Whitley Watson, Ashley Whitley,  Todd Whitley Jr., April Whitley, Dillon Waters and Trevor Waters; there are two great grandchildren, Savannah Watson and Jackson Watson.
The Funeral will be conducted at 4:00 pm Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Mount Harmony Baptist Church. Rev. Eugene Passmore will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Anthony Waters, Trevor Waters, Shawn Waters, Todd Whitley Jr., Dillon Waters, and Ronnie Schrimpsher.
The Visitation will be from 1:45 pm until 3:45 pm Sunday at the church prior to the service.
