Betty Ramsey

Mrs. Betty Smith Ramsey, age 69, of Sunshine, died Tuesday, August 9, 2005 at Rutherford Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Porter and Bertha Hudson Smith. A native of Cleveland County, she had retired from Drexel Manufacturing, and was a member of Cooper Springs Congregational Holiness Church.

She is survived by her husband, James Ramsey. One son, Brian Ramsey of Ellenboro. Three daughters, Nita Sparks of Lattimore, Linda Fleetwood and Donna Norville, both of Bostic. One sister, Brenda Peeler of Forest City. Three brothers, Arthur Smith of Golden Valley, Richard Smith of Sunshine, and Charles Smith of Shelby. 4 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

The Service will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to: Pastoral Fund - Rev. Terry Ware, Cooper Springs Congregational Holiness Church, 5840 Bostic Sunshine Highway, Bostic, NC 28018.
