Betty R. Jones, 74

Mrs. Betty R. Jones, 74, of Ellenboro, died Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
Betty was the widow of Henry A. Jones, and a daughter of the late Clarence and Beulia Russ. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Janette Russ Head; and a brother, Daniel Russ. She had served as a Boy Scout Troop Leader in Ellenboro, and retired as a CNA at Henderson Care Center.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Patricia Gibert and husband Richard, and Barbara Kennison and husband Richard; her son, Joseph Wright and wife Josandra, all of Ellenboro; her 2 sisters, Patsy Caldwell of Forest City and Linda Moore of Spindale; her 2 brothers, Perry Russ of Rutherfordton and David Russ of Forest City; there are 5 grandchildren, Alicia Pace and husband Robert, Chris Wright and wife Alyssa, all of Forest City, Andrew Kelly and wife Courtney of Ellenboro, Angela Gibert of Gaffney, and Willie Gudger Watkins of Easley, SC; there are 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Visitation will be from 11 am until 1 pm Wednesday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service.
