Betty P. Forbes, 80

Betty J. Forbes, 80, of the Cane Creek Community, died Wednesday, July 28, 2021.
She was the widow of Frederick E. Forbes, and a member of Cane Creek Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Garland and Mary McCullen Price.
She is survived by her sons, David Forbes and his wife Lynn, Rick Forbes, and Brian Forbes, all of Arcadia, FL; a very special granddaughter, Christina Samuel of Forest City; her brother, Jimmy Price of Charlotte; her sisters, Doris Horrell of Wilmington and Barbara Lewis of Atkinson; grandchildren, Cynthia Bransum and Taylor Forbes; great grandchildren, Tyson Samuel, Quentin Samuel, Chloe Samuel, Kinlee Samuel, Callie Branscum, Landon Branscum, and Angelo Branscom.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday, August 2, 2021 at Cane Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Danny Camp will officiate. Pallbearers are Aaron Pruitt, Charles Anderson, Tyson Samuel, Quentin Samuel, and Rev. Danny Camp.
The Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 10:45 am Monday in the Cane Creek Baptist Church sanctuary, prior to the graveside service.
