Betty Houser Robertson, 86

Mrs. Betty Jean Houser Robertson, 86, of Bostic, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the SECU Hospice House in Forest City.
Betty was born December 21, 1933, a daughter of the late J.C. and Minnie Houser. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her siblings, James, Buster, and Bill Houser and Eva Mae Jennings. She spent her working career at Breeden's in Morganton and retired from Fast Food Merchandising in Forest City.
She is survived by her sons, Glenn Robertson and his wife Robin, of Bostic, and Bryan Houser and his wife Lori, of Kings Mountain; her daughter, Donna Tindall of Shelby; her grandchildren, Charlene Bridges, Brooke Robertson, Brianna Robertson, Lorrin Dolese-Brothers, and Bryce Mullis; there are 3 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and a number of special nieces and nephews.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 12:00 pm Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at the First Broad Baptist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Charles Battle will officiate. Pallbearers are Bryan Houser, Glenn Robertson, Bryce Mullis, Ty Houser, Marty Negus, and Chad Smith.
Friends may visit from 3 pm until 7 pm Tuesday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home to sign the register book and pay their respects.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Broad Baptist Church, 2470 NC Hwy 226, Bostic, NC 28018.
