Mrs. Beatrice Sanders Murray, age 87, of Luckadoo Road, Sunshine, died Monday, October 11, 2004 at White Oak Manor.
A native of Caldwell County, she was the widow of Oscar George Murray, who died in 2003. She was the daughter of the late Crit and Toye Dula Sanders, and was also preceded in death by a son, Donald Harold Murray. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Harmony Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Pat Robbins, and her husband Joe, of Sunshine, her son Norman Murray, and his wife Marcella, of Sunshine, her sister, Emma Lancaster of Forest City, her brother, Atwell Sanders of Bostic, Eleven Grandchildren and Ten Great Grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 14, 2004 at Mount Harmony Baptist Church. Rev. Frank Hoyle and Rev. Jamie Hamrick will officiate. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, October 13, 2004 at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home, and at other times the family will gather at the residence of Joe and Pat Robbins, at 331 Luckadoo Road, Sunshine.
