Annie Lou Jones, 81

Annie Lou Jones, 81, of Golden Valley, died Wednesday, March 16, 2022.

She was the widow of Roy Jones, and was also preceded in death by her son, Ricky Jones; a sister, Alice Byrd; and her brothers, Eddie Nelson Smith and James B. Smith. She was a member of First Broad Baptist Church and retired from Milliken Corporation. 

She is survived by 2 sisters, Sue Dawson and Linda Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be conducted at 3:00 pm Sunday, March 20, 2022 at First Broad Baptist Church. The Rev. Steve Chastain will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Ken Hardin, Russell Chapman, Tyler Moore, Richard Petty, Tony Brackett, and Shane Hardin.

The Visitation will be from 2 pm until 3 pm Sunday at the church prior to the service.
