Angie Leake, 70

Judith "Angie" Leake, 70, of Bostic, died Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Levine and Dickson Hospice in Charlotte

Angie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Whitney "Jack" Leake. They were soul mates and lived happily together for over 20 years until his death. Angie loved life and was full of fun.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Marie Albano; all of her siblings, Ricky Albano, Frankie Albano, Vicki Albano, Brenda Albeiz, Larry Albano, Michael Albano, Marie Albano, and Russell Albano.

She is survived by her son, Alex Brown and partner Kristen Zboyovski of Asheville; her daughters, Leah Brantley and her husband Terry of Charlotte, Nicole Holland of Spindale, and Kasey Fowler of Bostic; there are 11 grandchildren; and her special friend, Douglas Alexander.  

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Jeff Hamrick will officiate.  Pallbearers are Terry Brantley, Jaden Brown, Richard Behrns, Jason Alexander, and Franklin "Bud" Bostic.

Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements. 

No formal visitation will be held.
