Andrew Scoggins, 64, of Golden Valley, died Sunday, December 4, 2022.

Andrew was the son of the late Buford and Mamie Queen Scoggins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Scoggins; his brothers, David Scoggins, Bobby and Danny Scoggins; his father-in-law, Leonard Propes; and his brother-in-law, Tim Oliver. He was a member of Golden Valley Church.

He is survived by his wife Janice Propes Scoggins; his daughter, Melissa Scoggins Todd and her husband Brandon, of Golden Valley; his stepsons, Gilbert Queen and his wife Lynthia, of Casar, and Eric Queen of Golden Valley; his sister, Louise Deyton and her husband Scott, of Forest City; his grandchildren, Blakely Scoggins, Brantley Todd, Keenan Todd, Brayden Todd, Destiny Queen, Kirsten Queen, and Isaiah Queen; his mother-in-law, Ethel Propes of Golden Valley; his sister-in-law, Karyn Oliver of Polkville; and a brother-in-law, Jeff Propes of Golden Valley.

The Funeral will be conducted at 3:30 pm Wednesday, December 7, 2022  at Golden Valley Church. The Rev. Charles Battle will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers are Billy Scoggins, Keenan Todd, Teddy Houser, Tony Roberson, Mark Hutchins, and Steve Hutchins. Honorary Pallbearers are Lance Hutchins, Chester Flynn, and Forrest "Chip" Scoggins.

The Visitation will be from 2 pm until 3:15 pm Wednesday at the church prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ERHS Softball Booster Club, 331 East High Road, Bostic, NC 28018.
