Alexander Nieves Jr., 6, of Ellenboro, died Saturday, March 1, 2025.

He survived by his parents, Alexander Nieves, Sr. and Kirsten Fabio; his brothers, Nahdeem Nieves and Alexander Nieves; his sisters, Amiya Marcelle, Nadisha Nieves, Alyssa Marcelle, KaAlliyah Nieves, Kyla Marcelle, Layla O'Reilly, Nadirah Nieves, Nyah O'Reilly, Arianna Joseph, Jaslynn Joseph, McKenzie Nieves, and Kirsten Nieves; his maternal grandfather, Vernon M. Fabio of Florida; his maternal grandmother, Nina L. Fabio of St. Croix, US Virgin Islands; his paternal grandmother, Felicita Nieves of Puerto Rico; his aunts, Sandra Nieves, Indy Nieves and Tasha Nieves; his uncles, Vernon M. Fabio, Jr., Joel O. Fabio, Dwayne W. Fabio, Omar Nieves, and Christian Nieves. 

A family directed Memorial Service will be conducted at 10:00 am Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Redemption Deliverance Church, 800 Washburn Switch Road, Shelby. Pastor H. Phillip Dade Jr., will officiate. 

Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service is in charge of cremation service.
