Mrs. Millie Jean "Mickey" Deese Hennessee, 87, of Bostic, died Monday, December 14, 2020.
She was the widow of Earl E. Hennessee and a daughter of the late Claude and Annie Hall Deese. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Homer Deese, Margaret Ray, Paul Deese, Gaynell Parker, Revonda Conner, Wallace Deese, and Norman Deese. Mickey had retired from Doncaster-Tanner. She was a very active member of Salem United Methodist Church, where she did the card ministry, many chicken pie suppers and Vacation Bible School, and had perfect attendance for 9 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Kim Hennessee and Shannon Henson, both of Bostic; her son, Kelly Hennessee of Charlotte; her 3 grandchildren, Chad Phillips and his wife Jennifer, Ashley Philbeck and her husband Elan, and Ansley Parker and husband Hunter; and her great grandson, Brady Parker.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Sam Burleson will officiate.

The Hollifield family will always remember the wonderful Mickey Hennessee. She was like a second mom to Jon from the time he and Kelly were in 3rd grade. So many great memories of Mickey and Earl. We are saddened by the loss of them here on Earth but thankful that they are reunited with no more pain. We love you all.
