Randy is my first cousin on the Harmon side of his family. He was a cousin who was frequently at my grandparents house when I visited them, since he lived next door. Being quite a bit older than Randy I remember when he was born and the joy my aunt Maude and Uncle Nyle had when he was born. He was such a handsome little boy! He grew up surround by a large and loving family who met often together and enjoyed wonderful foods and special dishes made by the nine Harmon children of my grandparents. I watched as he grew up and as he met the challenges that were uniquely his. He learned to help his dad in the landscaping business and drove the equipment they used. As his day grew older and developed problems he took responsibility for putting his shoes on him and doing what ever he could to help him. Randy was and is greatly loved by his cousins. I am so sorry to hear of his death. 17 first cousins survive Randy. He will be remembered for his sweet disposition, kind nature and ability to work as hard as anyone possibly could. I live in Atlanta and I am ill. With the Conronavirus I will not be able to attend his funeral. Hope to visit his grave if I make it back to NC.

I am so sad to hear of Randys death. Randy is my 1st cousin. My mother was his father's sister Millie. Randy was a happy child who grew up on the Hamon family farm. The whole family often ate lunch or dinner as we called it, at Grandfather John's house. Grandmother Laura was an excellent cook. The many Harmon families and cousins were often present. Randy was adored by all of his family. He learned to work as hard as any of the Harmons who were noted for their ability to work hard. Randy rest in peace and know that you were loved.

I am so saddened to hear of Randy's passing. We have't seen each other in several years. I knew Randy and his parents for many years. Nyal and Maude were wonderful people. I had the honor of speaking both at both of their home going services years ago. I pray that God will give the family peace and comfort today and in the days to come.
