We were very sorry to hear about George passing away. He was a nice man and friendly neighbor. We enjoyed his many stories. Remember him helping us pull a Rake down off a hill with his tractor. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the Poteat Family in this sad time.

We enjoyed getting to know Mr. Poteat. My kids enjoyed his magic tricks and stories. We are grateful he took the time to share a bit of local history with us including the history of the old mill. He was very concerned about our fire ant problem and made sure to get us some poison. His love for his family was evident in every conversation. He was very proud of all of you.

You are in our prayers. The Neighbors on the Hill
