We can't begin to understand the pain of having to bury a child but we have been praying for God's comfort and peace to be with all of you during this time. I remember how happy you were when you first got this sweet little baby boy and how complete he made you. Remember all those memories and they will keep you until you meet again. Earth's loss is Heavens gain and Christians can make it knowing they will see their loved one again one day. Love to you all!!

We are so glad to have known and loved such a special young man as Cody was. He was strong and brave even before he joined the Navy. When I apologized for not keeping in touch as often as we should have, he said, "Trey, you don't ever have to remind me that you love me because you loved me as a kid and I know you'll love me forever." As we do all of you.
