Ms. Summer Cheyenne Painter, 27, of Ellenboro, died Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Atrium Health Cleveland.
She was the daughter of Tammy Vaughn of Ellenboro, and the late Randy Painter, and the late Gary Vaughn. She was a member of Walls Baptist Church.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughters, Bella Gregory and Abby Painter, of the home; her brothers, Koty Painter and wife Brooklyn, of Union Mills, and Dylan Painter of the home; her maternal grandparents Gene and Carolyn Hunt of Ellenboro; paternal grandparents Arthur and Marion White of Summerfield, FL; and a nephew, Brentley Painter.
The Funeral will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, May 30, 2019 at Walls Baptist Church. The Rev. David Philbeck, Rev. Wayne Toney, and Rev. Brian Melton will officiate. Burial will follow in the Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. Active Pallbearers are Gene Hunt, Koty Painter, Dylan Painter, Brad Murray, Matt Hutchins, Austin Crown, and Joey Alexander; Honorary Pallbearers are John Racobs and Greg Kiser.
The Visitation will be from 5 pm until 8 pm Wednesday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral Home.

Sweet child of God, Summer I did not get to know you well, but what I knew is that you had such a sweet, wonderful spirit that lit up the world. May you rest with our Lord & to the family I pray that God will wrap you in His love & grace in the days ahead. Gone too soon.
