He was a man of strong faith, serving as a deacon in his church and taught Sunday School for many years. He was a lover of woodworking, old cars, yard sales, antiques, camping, and good food. Throughout his lifetime, he rescued many dogs who became his constant companions. His final joy was spending his retirement years in the cabin in North Carolina that he lovingly helped build.

Maggie, Kim, Melissa & families,

I just heard about Larry this morning - I am so very sad to hear the news. He was a trusted mentor, colleague, and friend through all my years at Daytona State and beyond. He was so proud of his family, and I loved getting to know "Papa's" grand kids and family. His wisdom remains alive in my conversations and in my heart. He made a difference in my life, and I cherish the years we worked together. I am honored to have crossed paths with him. Love to you all, Rita

Dear Family,
I was saddened to learn of the passing of Larry. That was such a nice image of him in the obituary notice and a wonderful write up and expression of his time on earth. We were classmates in Jamestown High School and I will always remember him. May the grace of the Lord be with you during this difficult time.
