Our prayer is that God will hold all of you in His loving arms; that He will comfort you and give to you His peace. We remember Amy the best as a pretty, sweet, intelligent student in my sixth grade classroom at East Middle.
Recently we were able to visit with her at Mi Pueblito after her return from Texas. We have followed her journey on Facebook and we know how courageous she has been through it all. Today she is in heaven where there is no more pain or disease. Our love to Amy and all her family and friends.

We met Amy when she worked at Foothills. She always had a bright smile for everyone, and it seemed she could do 100 things at one time. Heaven definitely has a very special angel amongst them.
Praying that you feel the comfort and love of God during this very difficult time.

With love,
Nancy & Lillian Silvers

We may never know this side of Heaven the countless lives Amy touched through her Faith in Jesus Christ and her sweet and selfless transparency during her valiant and courageous war against this dreadful disease. God was Glorified and Honored by her life which was lived beautifully and fully. Please know that as we prayed for Amy, and all her loved ones, our prayers will continue for the ones that are left to remember her and carry on what she began. May God encourage, strengthen and uphold you now and in the coming days, until we, as followers of Christ, are one day re-united with our loved ones who gave their all for HIM.

Jeremy, Lisa, Gary, and Stacy,
I was there for her birth, her birthdays, holidays, I had the great honor of leading her to Jesus at VBS, proms, her graduation, the day she married the love of her life and when the boys were born. I took it for granted, but I am so glad I was! She knew I loved her. Every time I’d tell her, she’d say, “I know you do, Aunt Dix and I love you so much!” Thank you for allowing me to be part of this journey. I especially treasure the alone time you allowed me in the last days. It helped me and I needed it. The words we shared changed me. It was such a holy time. God revealed Himself through her. He was real to her; she knew Him in such way I have no words that help me express it—supernatural. I can't recall a time I sensed the presence of the Holy Spirit any stronger. I will be forever grateful to have been with her and all of you. I was so deeply moved by her strength, courage, peace and faith in those last hours. She declared the greatness of God to all. You could not have heard this girl and not known how real He was to her! The thing I can’t fail to say is she loved you all. She told me of her excitement of seeing Jesus and heaven. She was unafraid of dying. However, her love for Jeremy, Easton, Graham and all of you, made her fight. She did not want to leave you! Our girl is in heaven in a perfect, glorified body! I look forward to seeing her there. Her charge to us was to serve the Lord and know Him! That is exactly what we will do until we are with her! I love you so much! Amy’s, Aunt Dixie!

I met Amy when I enquired about having my babies, Shandie and Gracie, groomed. I didn't realize then what an awesome groomer she was. In all the groomers I've tried, She was and always will be in my opinion the VERY BEST. Her attitude towards what she done showed what kind of person she was. I will always remember how happy my girls would get when I mentioned going to the doggie spa. Her husband, babies, and family will be in my prayers daily. May you all feel God's peace daily.

When I think of Amy, only one word comes to mind.... beautiful. And my heart right now feels so much sadness for the family, close friends, and ppl that she inspirated. A true example of a mother and could light up the room with just her presence alone. The years I spent side by side with Amy were wonderful and the memories we shared will forever be in my heart. Praying for Lisa, Gary, Jeremy, Easton, Graham, Stacy, all her nieces and nephews and everyone. You will always be in our hearts.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I am 28 years old and a mother of two as well, so I can only imagine what your family is going through. I am truly sorry. Even through the pain, something that brings us some sort of inner peace is knowing that all of this pain will one day be removed and will never come up into our hearts or minds ever again; God is creating a new heaven and a new earth (Isaiah 65:17).
