Arthur Smith was a good man. He was a friend who helped us many times and always looked out for us. He shared the bounty from his garden each year and taught us much about Golden Valley. We always looked forward to visiting with Arthur and hearing all the local news. He loved God and his country very much. There is no question that he is in Heaven today having fun with his old friends and family who went there before him. We will miss him very much.

Family, please know that Gene and I thought a lot of Arthur. He would come by our home in Lower Casar area and we would in turn visit with him in Golden Valley. Our friendship began at Good Ole Boys as well with others there. Our friendship was one of plesantship. May God be with the family and friends of Mr. Arthur Smith. Sincerely and with LOVE,
