Dear Family,

Just a thought to each of you letting all of you know you are in my prayers today and through the coming days. You each shared a special place in Jo Ann's heart and I know your hearts are heavy at this time. She was a sweet "Cuz" and she was always good to me. As a young child she was always willing to let me into her life a a little tag along cousin. God has given us the gift of memories and for that I am so thankful. Remember all the great times and one day you will meet again and live eternally!! God commanded, be strong and brave, do not be afraid for HE is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9)

Dear Walker Family,

I am so sorry to hear the news of Jo Ann's passing. We were best friends together at school at Ellenboro and East High and at Western. I remember fondly many good times we shared as young girls and young women. I wish for strength for the family as you go through the difficult days ahead. I know she will be greatly missed.

Myself, Donna, Robby and Laurie were so sorry to hear of JoAnn's passing. We had not seen her in many years since we live in RI, but when we were kids, we spent every summer for 2 weeks at Daddy John's and grandmother's house. We have so many happy memories of that time and JoAnn will be missed. Our condolences to JoAnn's entire family. The Walker cousins in RI

Dear Family, I was so saddened to learn of your loss of Jo Ann. I remember her so well from our days at East Rutherford High School. We were a grade apart, but were always East High friends there in the halls and other activities. I have not seen her in more than 45 years, but recognized her photo in the obituary immediately. She looked just like she did in school. Her hair was just darker then. I remember her most of all for her sweet smile, kind words, and deeds. That is what we remember about the people who have passed through our lives. How very fortunate some of the children of Rutherford County Schools were to have had her in their lives. My sympathy and prayers are with you at this time. Marianne W. Denney
