We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one; but you can be sure she has gone to heaven to reap her reward; for her service to the lord. Since she was a minister, I'm sure her hope for all of us would be, that we ask the Lord's forgiveness, and except him as our Lord, and Savior. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Sunday morning September 14th, Aunt Mamie got her life long desire and one of her last wishes.. "I just want to be outta this skin". She was ready to leave this earthly closet and rejoice with her first love... the Lord Jesus Christ. What a family reunion she is having.
I will miss you. I will miss the telephone calls and long long talks about spiritual matters and all the experiences you so enjoyed sharing about your time in Arizona. Your calling to the missions field was served with a passionate love for your "family" at Carrizo Station, Show Low, Arizona.
I will miss the scuppernong, plums, apple, grape,& fig jellies and jams. Best ever. Her squash relish. Her bread and butter pickles. Homemade fudge. She was not only my aunt she was my friend and sister in Christ. See you soon.

Sister Mamie was a close friend of ours. We had a mission at Cedar Creek, about 13 miles from Carrizo. We called her almost every day. My husband, Orval Alexander, tried to help her with some of the maintenance work at her house and the church in Carrizo. We had such good fellowship with Mamie, and enjoyed our friendship with her. I called her in perhaps 01/ 2014. We didn't know that she had cancer. She may have mentioned it, but my hearing is very poor so I may not have heard her tell us. We will at one time be with her in heaven! How great that will be! Our sympathies for all her family. Mamie truly loved the Lord and was a great servant of Him! Our loss is heaven's gain! Mamie was just 10 days older than my husband, Orval. We used to tease her about her not being very old since she was born on a leap year! It took her awhile to figure that out! We really loved Sister Mamie!
