Mr. Mitchell Allen, 72, of Bostic, died Sunday, March 16, 2014.
He was the widower of Linda Suttle Allen, and son of the late Nollie and Freida Smawley Allen.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle McAlpin of Conover; two sons, Gary Allen and Wayne Butler, both of Fallston; a stepdaughter, Loretta Jones of Forest City; a stepson, Charlie Flynn of Forest City; two brothers, Danny Allen of Polkville, and David Allen of Casar; there are nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, March 20, 2014 at First Broad Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Wayne Toney will officiate.
The Visitation will be from 5 pm until 7 pm Wednesday at Washburn & Dorsey Funeral and Cremation Service.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mitch was a wonderful neighbor. Would do anything to help and would always stop what he was doing and talk to you. Its going to be hard with him not being here now. May you find peace during this time as you move forward. If there is anything I can do please let me know. Will miss my friend bunches. Mitch rest in peace.

My sympathy on the loss of your dear father. He will be dearly missed. May God's kingdom and God's will be done on earth and end death forever as promised at Revelation 21: 2 & 4. May your memories give you comfort. Keep in mind Jesus assurance that loved ones are safe in Jehovah God's memory awaiting a resurrection to life on a paradise earth (John 5: 28 & 29)More bible answers on what happens at death are at I pray this helps you. respectfully,
