Dean and I were very sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. We attended
RS Central with her and Joe, and always enjoyed hearing her sing on
different occasions. We will certainly miss her, but we know that her
real life has just begun. May God be with Shirley's family at this time.

I am so sorry to hear of Shirley's passing but I know she is singing with the angels now. Peace be to her family in this difficult time. I graduated with Shirley at Appalachian and remember her beautiful voice. I was privileged to see her at our 50th class reunion this past summer.

My heart is with Carol, Joe and the complete family at this time, but I know Shirley is dancing on the streets of gold. I have known her since our first grade at Ruth. We became friends then and it lasted all these years We played, starting taking piano lessons the same day in the fourth grade. Then in the fifth grade Ms.Wilkin started Shirley, Lois Geer and myself in a trio singing. We practiced at Shirley's house with Mr. Jackson correcting us girls. My memories are very great of all the love that I will always have for
Shirley. She would not want us to grieve for she is in no pain.

This is hard for me since she has been my friend since first grade at
Ruth Elem.
