Mildred was like a second mom & dearest friend. She was right there by my side during Daddy's sickness & death. She was there when we lost Steve so unexpectedly & she was there to help with mom anytime I called. She was a loving & lovely woman. I loved her dearly. She loved her family & friends unconditionally. I will miss her!

Words cannot begin to say the loss I feel in losing my "like a sister, Mildred" Since I do not live in Rutherford County any more, Mildred and I would talk two or three times a week, and, catch up on all of the news from my home church and all my cousins and friends. Mildred was such a caring person for everyone and was always there to help.

What a tribute to her with the number of people that attended the receiving of friends last evening and the floral contribution. She was just that "special person" that I will miss along with many, many others. Our comfort is that we know she is in a better place and not suffering any more.

I love you all!
